Have you ever called an expired, or any type of prospect and they said, “Thanks for calling, but I’m not interested”?
The typical agent would respond, with something like, “Okay, I appreciate your time, have a great day”, and hang up.
The more resourceful way to handle this situation confidently would be to say: “That’s all right. Most people like you who have had their listing expire felt the same way when I first called them. But now they’ve become my best customers, and they recommend me to friends. Would it make sense for use to meet and discuss it?”
